Congratulations — 120 SC Athletes Make Their High School and Middle School Teams!
Serve City athletes hailing from 17 different high schools and 18 different middle schools in the Wheaton area made their 5th/6th, 7th, 8th, frosh A, frosh B, JV, sophomore or varsity teams after tryouts this month. Congratulations to these athletes — we are so proud of you and thankful for your coaches’ training and mentoring! Our training philosophy is to put our players’ development of their skills and understanding of the game as our first priority and then our teams’ development second, a unique vision that sets us apart from other volleyball clubs in the Chicagoland area.

What It Means to Play for Serve City Volleyball
Helping every athlete reach their goals through a work-hard, have-fun, growth-mindset training environment
“Our club’s passion is to help athletes reach their highest potential as volleyball players, teams, leaders and young women. That means helping top athletes reach their college volleyball goals, helping other athletes make their high school and middle school teams and training athletes to continually grow in their skills, knowledge base and lifelong love for the game while having a great time training and playing with teammates who become like family to them.”
‘We’re So Thankful for This Club’: SC Parent Testimonies
“My daughter had her first experience in volleyball through Serve City. Her coach was awesome, we had an awesome team of girls, and we enjoyed it so much that we drove 45 minutes to play there for three years. Highly recommended.”
— Jacob Lucas (Parent of an SC Alum)
We’re so very thankful for this club. It's been such a great experience for our daughter Sam.
— Cara Wills (Parent of a Player)
Kaitlyn made the freshman volleyball team at Wheaton North! She has come such a long way this past year. We are very grateful to Serve City for all you've done to help her along this journey.
— Megan Kriss (Parent of a Player)
“I LOVED Serve City for my daughter. The girls had fun. Their coach fostered a close, fun relationship with them as well — I do not believe the relationships between the girls would have developed if there had not been an atmosphere where that was possible through the coach. Those close relationships make the girls really desire to do well on the court. Thanks for everything this club was for the past two years for my daughter. I will cherish the memories.”
— Suzanne Luchs (Parent of an SC Alum)
Our daughter made the freshman A team at Glenbard East. We're very thankful for the opportunities Serve City provided for her this past year, as they clearly made all the difference.
— Marisa Szeluga (Parent of a Player)
“I love your emphasis on growth as players and enjoyment of the game and teammates. Over the years, I have heard parents from various clubs talk about their girls losing their love of VB due to the pressures of a focus that was primarily performance based. I’ve heard stories of players dreading practice due to coaching that was joyless and felt punitive. Serve City has a very definitive philosophy that avoids those scenarios, focusing on both training and building relationships between teammates.
— Kelly (Parent of an SC Alum)
Serve City has been such a great experience for Riley the past two years.
