Invitation for 2020-21 SC Athletes
to Play in 2021-2022 Season!
As a valued player with Serve City during the 2020-2021 season, we are thrilled to offer your family a guaranteed spot for your daughter on one of our teams for the 2021-2022 club volleyball season! You can quickly secure a spot on a team for your daughter by completing these two steps:
The Great Lakes Volleyball Region now allows Chicago-area clubs to invite their current athletes to receive a spot on a team the following season without having to try out. The region prohibits giving spots to players on specific teams (such as on 18 Blue or 14 Red) until after all club tryouts conclude. But clubs are now free to extend offers for their own athletes to return for a spot on a team without the stress of attending tryouts. We already know what your daughter contributes to a team, and we would love to see her continue playing and training with us next season!
Here’s how the agreement works:
Click the Step 1 blue button above to pay the $295 commitment fee securing a spot for your daughter for one of the 2021-2022 club seasons.
Click the Step 2 blue button above to read, fill out and electronically sign our 2021-2022 club handbook agreement that guarantees a spot on either a full season or regional season team roster for your daughter for the next club season. The agreement means your daughter will definitely receive a spot on a team roster for next season and guarantees she will be exempt from getting cut.
By signing the handbook agreement and paying the commitment fee by June 30, your family will also receive a $50 early bird discount off the 2021-2022 club registration fee. Signing the handbook agreement also represents your commitment to pay all fees (which are nonrefundable) related to the season your daughter is selected for (national season or regional season) and means your daughter may not try out or play for another club in 2021-2022.
The 2021-22 season early bird discount offer is good till June 30. The 2021-22 season offer without the early bird discount is good through July 15.
When next season begins, all athletes will be evaluated during the first two practices of the season. After the second practice, coaches will determine team rosters, and team rosters will be announced to SC families. Signing the handbook agreement and paying the commitment fee ensures your daughter will be placed on a full national season team or a regional season team roster next season.
Once you pay the commitment fee you are 100% in with SC for the 2021-22 season. If you want to quit for any reason, you are ineligible to try out or play for another volleyball club in 2021-22 without first paying your 2021-22 SC club fees in full (Great Lakes Volleyball Region rules).
