2021 SC Raise Craze Fundraiser Runs February 15 to 28
This year's Raise Craze fundraiser is live!
For the fourth straight year, the Raise Craze fundraiser will use good deeds by our athletes and coaches to raise crucial funds that allow Serve City to continue offering the lowest volleyball club fees in Chicagoland and continue providing financial aid to needy families.
(Raise Craze is an online platform enabling athletes to set up secure, custom websites where they request donations via email and pay it forward by completing acts of kindness for others so that they're serving, not selling.)
The fundraiser officially runs from Monday, February 15 to Sunday, February 28, but the Raise Craze website is already set up so that athletes, coaches and families can begin fundraising as early as tonight!
You will need to create your fundraiser account and enter 10 email addresses by Saturday, Feb. 20 to avoid having to pay the $100 fundraiser buyout. (See details below.) If you create an account and enter 10 email addresses you won't have to personally contribute money to the fundraiser. Otherwise, you will be auto-enrolled in our $100 fundraiser buyout on Monday, Feb. 22.
Fundraiser buyout
If you prefer not to solicit others for donations, select the buyout option of $100 found at http://www.servecityvolleyball.org/online-store-1/fundraiserbuyout and your daughter is exempt from participating in the fundraiser, or you can wait to be auto-enrolled on Groundwork in the $100 fundraiser buyout on Feb. 22. Your daughter is then exempt from participating in the fundraiser. (If you already paid the $100 fundraiser buyout last week we have recorded your payment and you will not be charged a second time.)
How to start fundraising
Your daughter and/or you will go to the Raise Craze website (click here to visit my.raisecraze.com/AZ33WB8) and create her student profile. This profile will serve as your website to raise funds. It only takes a couple of minutes to build.
The next page will take you and your daughter to your acts of kindness list. Here she will select the acts of kindness she will complete for the fundraiser.
Once she has selected her acts of kindness, she or you will enter your first batch of email addresses to send to potential supporters. The only thing the athletes NEED to do is enter a minimum of 10 email addresses of potential donors into the system by Saturday, February 20, and perform 2-3 simple acts of kindness. The athletes don't write the emails; Raise Craze takes care of sending all emails, reminders and thank-you notes on your behalf. The goal is to raise $100 or more per athlete to ensure our ability to continue offering the lowest player fees of any Chicago-area volleyball club and to provide financial aid to needy families that otherwise can't afford to register their daughters to play club volleyball!

To help meet the fundraising goal, we have set up incentives to encourage our athletes to work hard and to spread the word via email and social media.

$100 gift card for each high earner to the store, retailer or restaurant of their choice
Highest earner per team
$25 gift card for each high earner to the store, retailer or restaurant of their choice
